These 10 simple and fun party games for adults are really some of my favorite party games ever, not just fun games for adults! They’re perfect for an adult game night or anytime you need some fun group games!
Who Am I?
A guessing game where you act or draw the famous person on the slip of paper that you drew. Can your teammates guess who you’re pretending to be?
There are many other variations of this game, one of my favorites is to use sticky notes and place the name on the guests’ backs. It makes for a fun and easy icebreaker.
Balloon Volleyball
Unlike regular volleyball, using a balloon means you can play indoors without risk to furniture or people. You can also play by sitting on the floor.
String up a net and divide into two equal teams.
- Start the game, by instructing the first team with the balloon to hit it across the net to the next team. The other team then hits it back
- If a team fails to hit the balloon, or the balloon hits the floor – the opposite team scores a point
- Set a time limit for each round.
The team with the highest score in a given series of rounds wins.
Want to adult it up? Each round, make the person who dropped the balloon take a drink, or maybe even the whole team.

Laughing Game
This seems silly but it really is fun.
Get everyone seated round a table or in a circle.
- Players take it in turns to say “Ha”, “Ho” or “Hee”. Anyone who starts laughing is knocked out of the game
- Keep going until everyone’s out
The person who keeps a straight face the longest wins a prize.
Never have I ever
The classic game of Never Have I Ever had to be included in this list of party games for adults. With 400+ questions, there are some fresh ideas here that your guests won’t be expecting.
Besides the huge number of questions, there’s also a drinking game variation, penalty variation, and a non-alcoholic variation.

Opposites
The aim of this fun party game’s for players to do the exact opposite of what you ask them to.
- For example, if you say “walk”, then they should stand still
- Or, if you said “kick out with your left leg”, they should kick out with their right.
Anyone doing exactly what you ask them is out of the game. Last player standing wins.

Two Truths and a Lie / Ice Breaker
Two Truths and a Lie can be a great game for all ages, and it makes for a fun icebreaker for a group that may not know each other very well.
There are lots of examples of truths and lies about achievements, sports, childhood and family, food, and more. You’ll even find some strategies for the game here that will give you the upper hand.
Movie Game
All you may need for this recreation is pen, paper and movie information. Make a list of five actors and five actresses earlier than the celebration starts. Give every participant a chunk of paper and a pen. Set a time limit which includes one minute for each actor/actress.
The host will say an actor’s call and the guests could have one minute to jot down as many films as they could consider that he played in. Do the equal for actresses. At the quiet of the game, every grownup will get a factor for each accurate answer. The person with the maximum factors wins the game.
Hows Yours?
Send one player out of the room. The institution comes to a decision on something that everyone has. It can be a frame part (hands, toenails, lips), a bodily possession (residence, car, computer) or something abstract (starvation pains, humorousness).
Once the organization determined something that all of them have in not unusual, the man or woman is asked to return and begin the game with the aid of asking every different player “How’s yours”?
The other players reply with one and rarely with two phrases, describing the component they have got, the usage of descriptive adjectives which are smart, however not too revealing.
You start with more difficult, more ambiguous adjectives and the gamers towards the give up use their judgment whether they have to make their descriptions more direct or less difficult to become aware of. After the player requested every person “how’s yours”, he/she should wager what “the thing” is!
This game affords loads of snickers!

Russian Roulette
You’ll need: A dice, shot glasses, water, clear alcohol, and playing cards or pieces of paper numbered one to six. Oh and 6 players.
Also known as shot roulette, this drinking game is perfect for getting the festivities started. Randomly fill shot glasses with either water or clear alcohol of your choice. Assign a shot glass to one number, and make sure to mix it up so no one knows where the alcohol is. Roll the dice and take the number’s corresponding shot. Keep playing until you’re all pleasantly buzzed.
Likes & Dislikes
Have everyone at the party write down some likes and dislikes on a sheet of paper (something like “Likes: Pizza and Star Wars, Dislikes: Spiders”). Collect the cards and have one person read them aloud one at a time while everyone else tries to guess who wrote what.
